My mother is always worth celebrating, and an occasion for doing just that is happening this April. In stead of a party she has invited us all to Greece.
If it is possible during my time there, I will blogg as I go, but for now, all there is to say is that I have a ticket to leave on 5 April and return on 18 April 2009.
I have been there once before, but that was almost twenty years ago and all I have left from then is vague memories and the friendship with my travel companion.
I got a 'redemption ticket' on Emirates and only had to pay half the way. I would have lost the miles had I not used them this year.
Getting the ticket was a bit tricky, but we at LAMB use a fabulous travel agency in Dhaka called Travel Channel. Together with a few friends they made it possible without me having to make an extra trip to Dhaka.
